Recall that on the night of 14–15 April 2014, a group of militants attacked the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Nigeria, as they broke into the school, and alleged to shooting the guards and killing one soldier.
Also, a large number of students were taken away in trucks, possibly into the Konduga area of the Sambisa Forest where Boko Haram were known to have fortified camps.
In remembrance to the incidence, Nigerian fast upcoming music artist, Phyno, has used the children’s day celebration to remember the abducted girls and urging that the girls should be released.
According to the music crooner , he wrote ‘Phynofino Happy children's day!!! #bringbackourgirls
