Legalize it! New York passes law allowing medical marijuana

The Big Apple has legalized the use of marijuana, well, somehow it seems.
According to reports, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo has signed a law which legalizes the use of medical marijuana in the state.
Inspite of the passing into law, the state’s program is reportedly one of the nation’s most restrictive which states that the drug must be ingested or administered through a vaporizer or oil base.
New York now becomes the 23rd state in the United state to legalize to the use of medical marijuana and the program is expected to commence in about 18 months which will see patients with diseases including AIDS, cancer and epilepsy eligible to obtain non-smokeable versions of the drug.
Cuomo says prohibiting the smoke-able marijuana will help keep the drug away from wrong hands. SHARE THIS NEWS
