Party agents in the Akure North area enticed voters with some snacks. In the photos that have gone viral online, a few women shared snacks among the electorate as they exercised their franchise.

 

The parties the agents represent remain unclear but the action has been described as a bribe by a section of Nigerians on social media.

 

Meanwhile, it seems the All Progressives Congress shared some bathroom slippers among voters in a show of 'benevolence'.
