Madonna Slams Donald Trump, Says She Is 'Ashamed To Be An American'

Even though Art Basel might have mostly been fun, games, and charity for Madonna, she got real about politics while down in Miami this weekend, too.
We know the Material Girl had her fun with ex-flame Sean Penn on Friday night at a charity auction for the African nation of Malawi, but Madge also turned her focus on our nation, too — and one man in particular: Donald Trump.
With audible gasps coming from audience members at various points throughout her charity auction night, Madonna ripped into The Donald several times, even going so far as to say she was "ashamed to be an American" because of his election and rise to power.
She also re-told a story of doing a photo shoot in a bedroom at one of Trump's resorts in Palm Beach years ago, and recounted jumping into his bed for it (below):
"Now don't go jumping to conclusions because he wasn't in that bed. He wasn't anywhere near that bed. He wasn't even in the room. I was just doing a photo shoot in Palm Beach for the Versace campaign in his house. I just want to mention that his sheets were not 100 percent Egyptian cotton. Yes. Cheap slumlord. Here's what I'm wondering: Do you think he's going to have nice sheets in the White House? Here's one thing I'm sure of. They won't be Egyptian cotton because we all know how he feels about Muslims, don't we?"
