Pervert who thought he was meeting 12-year-old girl begs for mercy

 A pervert who arranged to have sex with a 12-year-old girl, went on his knees and begged
 the paedophile hunters who caught him for mercy.

Praju Prasad, 24, believed he had been speaking to a child on social media and arranged to meet her at a train station. He asked for sex and sexual activities and said he was going to book a hotel where they would both stay overnight so he could perform these sexual acts with the child .



But he had actually been speaking to a member of Guardians of the North, an undercover organisation set up to catch men trying to meet children for sex, and that was who he came face to face with.

Officers arrived and arrested Prasad before charging him with attempting to meet a girl under the age of 16 after grooming.

At Newcastle Crown Court this week Prasad, of Bell Street, North Shields, was handed nine month prison sentence suspended for 18 months and a £140 fine after previously pleading guilty. SHARE THIS NEWS
