Ballon d’Or: Ancelotti Slams Organizers For Snubbing One Important Player
Ancelotti, speaking to the media on Friday, said the Brazilian is “an important” player and should have made the cut.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has said Rodrygo should have made the 30-man nominees shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Rodrygo is one of the notable names that was missing from the list released last month.
Ancelotti, speaking to the media on Friday, said the Brazilian is “an important” player and should have made the cut.
“For sure Rodrygo should have been among the nominees for the Ballon d’Or, no doubt,” he said
“I understand his sadness, he’s right. For me, he’s an important player and there are zero problems.”
Real Madrid has the most players on the list, including favourites Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.
