On Thursday, July 3, Jurgen Klopp, the former Liverpool head coach, reacted to the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André.
Klopp said he was heartbroken over the de@th of both fantastic footballers.
Recall that Jota and Andre d!ed in a car accident in the early hours of Thursday in Spain.
However, in a post on his Instagram account, Klopp said:
”I am heartbroken to hear about the passing of Diogo and his brother André.”
The German gaffer described Jota as a “fantastic player,” adding that he was a “great friend and a loving father.”Klopp also admitted that Jota will be missed so much as he also condoled Jota’s wife Rute and their children.
Klopp coached Jota during his time at Liverpool, having signed the Portuguese from Premier League side Wolves in 2020.
