A Ghanaian man has shared a video showing a woman being counseled by female family members to accept her husband’s new second wife and to ignore advice from her friends.

The video has now gone viral online, stirring conversations.

The family is from Zongo, a primarily Hausa-speaking community in Ghana. 

Pointing out the women's forceful tone, the narrator said they advised the first wife to fear friends and human beings.

The women also told the first wife not to even let her own mother know what happens in her marriage, including the challenges she is facing.
