Ebonyi Man Hospitalised In Anambra After Knife Attack By His Girlfriend

A man said to be from Ezza community in Ebonyi State has been hospitalised after he was allegedly injured during an altercation with his girlfriend in Anambra State.
Sources familiar with the incident said the victim sustained a deep cut to his wrist following a confrontation with the woman, whose identity has not yet been made public.
Although the exact cause of the dispute remains unclear, a person close to the couple described their relationship as troubled, alleging that there had been repeated conflicts between them in the past.
The source claimed the woman had previously threatened the man during arguments and had once chased him with a pestle.
Despite the reported tensions, the victim was said to have remained in the relationship, telling friends he found it difficult to leave because they had been together for about seven years and he still cared deeply for her.
A video showed the man receiving treatment for the injury to his wrist: his wrist was cut so deeply.
It is not yet clear whether the matter has been formally reported to the police.
