President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door security meeting with the country’s service chiefs, intelligence heads, and the Inspector-General of Police at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The high-level meeting is taking place amid rising attacks on military formations in several parts of the country by terrorist groups.
Those in attendance include the Chief of Defence Staff, the National Security Adviser, the Chiefs of Army, Navy, and Air Staff, as well as the Director-General of the Department of State Services, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, and the Inspector-General of Police.
Details of the discussions have not yet been disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
