“Leave my sister alone, even if she lied, she’s not the first” – Blessing CEO’s sister defends her amid cancer donation backlash
The ongoing controversy surrounding Blessing CEO and the alleged cancer donation claims has taken another twist, as her sister has now come forward to defend her.
Amid accusations that Blessing CEO may have misled people while soliciting financial support over a supposed stage 4 cancer condition, many Nigerians have continued to demand accountability and refunds.
However, her sister is not having any of it.
In her reaction, she insisted that regardless of the situation, no one was forced to donate money.
“You people should leave my sister alone, she didn’t force you to donate money for her,” she said.
She doubled down on her defense, arguing that even if the allegations turn out to be true, her sister should not be singled out, claiming that similar incidents have happened before without this level of public outrage.
“Stop disturbing my sister, she didn’t force anyone to contribute money for her… even if she lie she is not the first person.
“Those people that use to come online and claim they run charity home that people will donate for and they will spend it have you people done anything about it?” she asked.
She also referenced controversial activist VeryDarkMan, suggesting that critics have been inconsistent in how they react to similar allegations.
“VeryDarkMan that eat the donation money for the charity nko did you people do anything about him?” she said.
Ending her statement, she again urged the public to stop targeting her sister over the cancer-related claims. “You people should leave my sister alone.”
Her remarks have further fueled the already heated debate online, as discussions around the alleged cancer fraud and donation accountability continue to divide opinions.
