Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has expressed his appreciation to London, fans, fellow artists and everyone who contributed to the success of his sold-out “Davido & Friends” concert at Crystal Palace Bowl on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Reflecting on the milestone, Davido thanked London for standing by him throughout his career, noting that the city has “been rocking” with him from the beginning as he celebrates 15 years in music.
Taking to his social media page, he wrote:
“15 YEARS LATER AND WE’RE STILL MAKING HISTORY!! 🇬🇧❤️ LONDON… YOU’VE BEEN ROCKING WITH ME FROM THE BEGINNING”.
He extended his gratitude to the artists who joined him on stage, the fans who turned out for the concert and the teams working behind the scenes to bring the event together.
“THANK YOU LONDON!! THANK YOU TO EVERY ARTIST THAT CAME OUT, EVERY FAN THAT PULLED UP AND EVERYBODY BEHIND THE SCENES THAT MADE THIS NIGHT WHAT IT WAS,” Davido added.
The concert marked a significant moment in Davido’s 15-year career and his first-ever curated festival in the UK, bringing together a lineup of artists and thousands of fans at the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl.
Closing his message on a celebratory note, Davido wrote: “15 DOWN… FOREVER TO GO!! ⏳👑 ORIADÉ SEASON. 🌍👑”, he noted.
