Former SGF Babachir Lawal has moved to the NDC after leaving the ADC months ago.
Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has officially joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) three months after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) over alleged presidential primary manipulation.
Speaking in Abuja, Lawal declared his support for the 2027 presidential ticket of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
He urged patriotic Nigerians facing insecurity and economic hardship to rally behind the NDC to bring about real change.
NDC National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson welcomed Lawal, calling him a key political mobilizer, and immediately put him in charge of leading the party’s 2027 campaign activities across the North-East and North-Central regions.
