Peter Obi has said there is no fight between him and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, despite the comments and exchanges surrounding them.

Obi said the relationship between both families goes beyond politics, noting that he and his wife are godparents to Soludo’s children.
The NDC presidential candidate made the comment while speaking at the 22nd All Nigeria Editors Conference (ANEC) in Enugu, where he responded to questions about his relationship with Soludo and claims concerning the finances he left behind as Anambra governor.
He said:
“I and my wife are godparents to Soludo’s children. We are not fighting. If they say anything, I will answer them. Like I said yesterday, I didn’t leave any debt in Anambra State. Even Governor Alex Otti confirmed it this morning on national TV.”
Obi also stood by his earlier position that his administration did not leave Anambra State with debt when he handed over power.
