Deji Adeyanju condemns killi*ng of NDC Member in Enugu

A Rights Activist, Deji Adeyanju has condemned the kill*ing of a member of the National Democratic Congress NDC in Enugu, saying that political intolerance is a threat to Nigeria’s democracy.
Adeyanju disclosed this in a press statement made available to journalists in Abuja.
“I call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Inspector-General of Police to urgently investigate the killing of a member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Enugu and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.”
“Political intolerance threatens our democracy and undermines the fundamental freedoms upon which our nation is built. No Nigerian should lose their life because of their political affiliation. Political differences must never be settled with bullets.”
