"I'm Loyal to the Soul"-Kendrick Lamar on getting engaged to highschool sweetheart of 10yrs

Kendrick Lamar and his longtime girlfriend, Whitney Alford, are engaged. The couple have been together for 10 years and met in hug school.

He announced the happy news  during an interview on Power 105.When the 27-year-old  was asked to respond to rumors that they were planning a wedding, he replied,

"Yeah, definitely. I'm loyal to the soul."

In January, Lamar told Billboard magazine 

I wouldn't even call her my girl,". "That's my best friend. I don't even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion — she's somebody I can tell my fears to.
