Boom, we have got quite an interesting proposal story for this week's TLS!
The lovebirds, Dimeji Ishaq and Sherifat Temitope got engaged a few days after the former threw the latter a surprise proposal which was covered by Orlamii photos.
Read their story as narrated by the excited groom-to-be below:
I remember vividly I was sitting down in the love lane as Known by anyone from University of Ilorin would fondly call it, I was with Rasheed gisting and as well doing some sight seeing when she passed by.
I said to him that girl is mine, though that wasn't the very first day I saw her, have been watching over her since her days of remedial when I meet her through my cousin . Without thinking it much I Tracked her down to the class she use to read, I need no GPS to do that trust me, started as a friend but deep inside me I know what I really want.
It was Friday, 16th of October 2009 I asked her out on a date and she was like "what is this one saying" took a while with the journey to her heart but I am so confident of myself that she is mine, The relationship started December after lot of tactics employed, (come and see me in camera for that). After a lot of great moment spent together but we thick as thieves in mischief .. on the same day 16th of October 2016 (7 yrs after).
I knelt down before Sherifat Yunus whom I love wholeheartedly, I said to her am not doing this because I can live with you for the rest of my life but am doing this just because I can't live the rest of my life without you, I need no google to know she is my missing rib "would you marry me" softly I asked... Guess what⁉ I won the jackpot of my life she said YES #Alhamdulilah "
Sherifat said "YES YES YES❤💍!!!!!!!!!..Perimeter finally SECURED....YES..i wana b d 1 addresd as ya wifey, YES as the MOTHER of ya children, YES to b ya partner....YES to being ya EVERYTHING...Love u endlessly baby n in ya happiness lies ma joy"
