Ugandan policemen took to the streets wearing women's shoes in solidarity with the 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' campaign aimed at ending rape, sexual abuse and violence against women.
The men were praised on social media for the gesture.
The event is an international march against rape and sexual assault and violence against women. Police partnered with women rights civil society organizations to fight gender based violence.
