Court Sentences Man To Jail For Flashing Torch At Oba's Palace
The 29-year old was charged for wandering and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace for pointing his mobile phone flash light into the Oba’s complex. An act that has also been revealed to be a taboo in Yoruba land.
He was charged before the Magistrates court sitting in Ejigbo where he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O. Ogba granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 18th of September, 2017.
