Gov. Obiano Presents 5 Vehicles To Law Faculty Of COOU

The State Government has presented 5 vehicles to the Law Faculty of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

Government House correspondent Kenechukwu Ofomah who was at the Governor's Lodge Amawbia where the presentation was made reports that the vehicles include one 18-seater bus for the faculty, a Ford mini-jeep for the Dean and three cars for the Heads of Department under the Faculty.

They are part of the final lap of requirements for the accreditation of the faculty.

Handing over the vehicles, Governor Obiano said his administration considers education as a key enabler in what it is doing and as such, no resource committed in developing the sector is a waste.

This he noted, informed his efforts at investing heavily to secure the accreditation of the Medical College of the University and its present support towards the realization of accreditation of the Law Faculty.

The Governor urged the Faculty management to complement his administration's imputs towards upgrading the Faculty by ensuring that the quality of education offered students are of the best standards.

Responding, a Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Sylvester Madu thanked the Governor on behalf of the University management for his numerous imputs towards transforming the University to a world class institution and promised that the University will continue to drive the vision of the present administration as regards tertiary education.
