Youth Pastor Arrested For Threatening To Kill Gay Police Men And Rape Council Speaker

For threatening to kill all of New York City’s LGBTI police officers, a Christian Youth pastor,Daniel Silvera, 26, is in jail. He was arraigned yesterday in Manhattan criminal court. He is facing a multitude of charges including aggravated harassment as a hate crime.

During court hearing he admitted to having craeted a Gmail account to send the emails. On 28 July, he wrote to the Gay Officers threatening to kill them and every other gay NYPD cop. 

Not stopping there, he also sent an email to New York City council speaker, Melissa Mark-Viverito, saying he was going to break into her home and rape her four times before murdering her entire family. .

‘These violent, dangerous threats against the Speaker and the NYPD are deeply disturbing and we thank the DA’s office for pursuing this matter,’ said Robin Levine, a spokeswoman for District Attorney Mark-Viverito’s office. .

Silvera is a Christian youth minister at Metro Ministries, and is also involved in a religious group called Young Life. According to his Facebook page, he is also a ‘Christian rapper’ with a group called Pavel International. A judge set his bail at $50,000.
