Teen mom stabs 1 year old daughter to death
Police in Columbus, Ohio, arrested 17-year-old Lachelle Martina Marie Anderson on Sunday after she called 911 to report that her child needed medical attention and was not moving.
When officers arrived to the South Side residence they found 1-year-old Lalanna Sharpe suffering from several stab wounds, a tweet from the police department stated.
The baby girl was rushed to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead in the emergency room.Ben Price, who lives next door to Anderson, told the outlet that the teenage mother allegedly suffered from some form of postpartum depression.
"She's really a good kid," he said. "These are good, God-fearing people."
