Hard Drugs Made Me K!ll My Baby Mama – 27-Year-Old Fraudster Confesses In Delta

A 27-year-old suspected internet fraudster, Obakpororo Kelvin, has confessed to k!lling the mother of his child, identified as Excellence, with a hammer in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, claiming he was under the influence of hard drugs at the time.
The suspect who was paraded by the Delta State Police Public
Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe in a video on social media said he
took two tablets of “tramadol”(100miligramme each) and smoked a
substance called “loud” before he k!lled the lady on the 26th and 27th
June 2025 in Sapele, Delta State.
He said, it’s the drugs that pushed him into k!lling the woman who had two sons for him over an argument on that fateful day.
While noting that it has not been too long since he started consuming and abusing drugs as well as smoking, Kelvin, who spoke in pidgin English, said his eyes became clear after he carried out the act. According to him, ”My eye done clear. I done learn from my mistake.”
Kelvin who who advised other youths to say No drugs said, ”Make them nor do am.”
He said he does internet fraud and farming side by side as a means of survival.
According to him, ”I dey do street. I still dey do farm. I dey press. I dey do yahoo. I still dey farm work join.”
When asked what transpired between him and his deceased baby mama, Kelvin said, she’s into hook up(prostitution). He explained that on that fateful day, ”When she come my place, she carry Vegas with clothes wey she go take change. We get argument. She carry knife and I carry hammer.”
Kelvin pointed out that he overpowered his baby Mama and collected the knife and hit her on the forehead three times and she fell down and died instantly.
He expressed regrets that he didn’t know his baby mama would die.
“After she die, I come say make I die follow her. I come jump down from upstairs and nothing do me.
“I come dey ask her say babe, I nor know say you go die before o. This
one wey done happen, I go just join you make we two just go that
side(talking to de@d body).
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe said the suspect will soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.
