 In an interview with DailyMail Sports, he revealed that "everyone" abandoned him when fame plummeted, but his wife stood by him.

Footballer, Paul Pogba has reserved special praise for his wife, Maria Zulay.

 

In an interview with DailyMail Sports, he revealed that "everyone" abandoned him when fame plummeted, but his wife stood by him. 

 

According to the French footballer, calls stopped and people started avoiding him after doping ban led to loss of fame. 

 

He added that even his wife was deserted by friends. 

 

However,  he said his wife, Maria Zulay Salaues, remained strong and continued to parent their kids. 

 

He hailed her for being there for him during the ban and added that his experience has taught him a lesson about life.
