Controversial UK-based pastor, Tobi Adegboyega has thanked God and money after overcoming cancer.
According to him, money played an important role in him overcoming cancer.
He made the remarks while preaching on purpose and destiny during a recent sermon.
Adegboyega told his congregation that spirituality alone is not enough, stressing that financial resources are necessary to make progress in life. According to him, during his personal crisis with cancer, money played a decisive role.
“God isn’t about religion, Christianity, or labels. To fulfill God purpose, money is essential. God helped me survive cancer, but yes, money did the m+dness. It was money that put me as number one priority. Money is my servant,” he said.
He narrated how wealth influenced the speed of his medical treatment when he was ill, suggesting that without it, the outcome might have been different.
“Money was the guy that told the hospital ‘you are not going to keep this guy on the waiting list for s¥rgery for 3 months. Money told them number one priority. It was money that spoke,” he added.
Pastor Adegboyega, founder of SPAC Nation (now rebranded as The Nxtion Family), is known for his lavish lifestyle and outspoken views on wealth and faith — positions that have repeatedly drawn both criticism and support from the public.
