Rivers Assembly To Serve Governor Fubara, Deputy Impeachment Notice In 7 Days

 Major Jack, the leader of the State Assembly, read the gross misconduct charges against Governor Fubara and his Deputy during an emergency plenary on Thursday.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has decided to issue impeachment notices to Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his Deputy, Ngozi Nma Odu, within the next seven days.

Earlier, BobojayTV reported that the assembly on Thursday commenced Fubara’s impeachment processes.

At least 26 members of the house moved for the governor’s impeachment.

The Speaker, Martins Amaewhule, said the notice of gross misconduct will be served to Governor Fubara and his Deputy in the next 7 days.
