Onochie made this allegation in a post on her verified X handle on Tuesday, stressing that whatever President Bola Tinubu touches, he destroys.
Lauretta Onochie, a former aide to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of denying nomination forms to its aspirants despite collecting large sums of money from them.
Onochie made this allegation in a post on her verified X handle on Tuesday, stressing that whatever President Bola Tinubu touches, he destroys.
“How did APC become a 419 political association? Across the nation, APC aspirants are paying huge amounts of money for forms, but APC refuses to give them the forms they have paid for.
“They have already nominated the candidates but are still selling forms. This is not democracy. This is fraud. Whatever Tinubu touches, he destroys,” she said.
The screening of aspirants seeking various national offices at the forthcoming APC National Convention took place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
