Falz explained that he was not offended by the suggestion.
He pointed out that marriage is widely appreciated in Nigeria and acknowledged that, as an entertainer, aspects of his personal life often become part of his audience’s enjoyment.
The activist added a playful remark about possibly experimenting with marriage to see how it would go.
He said: “It’s not your fault, I am the one who chose to be an entertainer, that means my life is your entertainment.
"I should just do a quick matrimonial experiment, let’s just see. I appreciate your suggestion.”
In 2025, Falz stated that he may choose not to announce his marriage publicly.
His announcement followed recent confusion over a set of photos that were mistaken for a traditional marriage introduction.
The images, which sparked widespread speculation, were later confirmed to be part of a marriage-themed photoshoot, not an actual wedding.
The initial posts drew both praise and criticism, with some fans accusing Falz of misleading the public.
In response, he clarified that assumptions about his personal life are often premature and that he might prefer to keep such milestones private.
