Sunshine Rosman tearfully cries out over rising insecurity
Nollywood actress, Sunshine Rosman opened up about her deep concern over the country’s current state, shedding tears in a video she shared online.
The video, posted on her Instagram story captures her reacting to what she described as the worsening conditions Nigerians face, including insecurity and economic struggles.
In the clip, Sunshine lamented the seeming inaction in the face of growing challenges, drawing attention to widespread poverty, crumbling infrastructure, and the displacement of communities due to violence. She specifically referenced parts of Northern Nigeria, where repeated attacks have forced residents to flee their homes for safety.
She expressed alarm over the persistent loss of lives and the lack of adequate response, questioning the nation’s direction.
“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough? We can’t even begin to talk about the economy right now, the poverty rates. We can’t even start on the lack of infrastructure in this country. That’s not bad enough. People, especially Christians in the North, are constantly being slaughtered. Lives are being lost for nothing. People are forced to leave their towns, their homes, their villages because they know nothing will be done. I swear it’s not normal. I swear to God this is not normal…,” she said, visibly emotional.
