Anglican Church Sacks Priest in Anambra

The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) under the leadership of Rt.Rev Dr. Owen Nwokolo(Bishop on the Niger)has suspended Reverend Ifunaya Maduka from office as Vicar of St Paul’s Parish, Nteje.
In a suspension letter signed by the Bishop of the Niger, it was stated that the suspension of Rev Ifunaya Maduka was due to his involvement in practices grossly unbecoming of an ordained priest of the Anglican Communion.
Rev Ifunaya Maduka is accused of performing arranged and manipulated prophecies and miracles by involving people he knows and pays for the act while presenting such acts as genuine prophetic manifestations of God.
When Rev Ifunaya was confronted with evidence of arranging miracles and prophecy, he admitted his involvement in such an unholy practice, the church further suspended him for misleading and deceiving the people of God.
