Nollywood actress Cynthia Anijekwu is appealing to Nigerians for financial support as she battles cancer.

The actress shared that she was diagnosed with the disease in 2023 and underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy. Although she completed the treatment, she said the cancer later returned. After a recent medical check-up, her doctors informed her that it had spread to her bones, leaving her in need of more intensive treatment.
Cynthia explained that she now spends more than ₦600,000 every month on treatment and has also been told she will need radiation therapy and another surgery. According to her, the cost has become more than her family can afford, prompting her to seek public help.
