VeryDarkMan has explained why he and Davido are no longer as close as they used to be, saying it all started with an offer he chose not to accept during the election period.

In a video he shared, VDM claimed Davido and members of his team wanted him to support the campaign of the singer’s uncle and were ready to pay him for it. Despite the repeated requests, he said he wasn’t interested and decided to stand by his decision.
According to him, “Davido and his team allegedly offered me ₦50 million to help campaign for his uncle, but I turned it down. They pleaded with me for days, but I still rejected the offer. That was when we stopped hanging out together.”
He said that the decision changed the dynamic between them. While there was no public fallout at the time, he believes that was the point where they gradually stopped hanging around each other, and the friendship eventually faded.
