Nigerians donate N13m to actress Cynthia Anijekwu for cancer treatment

Nollywood actress Cynthia Anijekwu has received N13.1 million in donations after making a public appeal for financial assistance to continue her cancer treatment.
The fundraising effort began after fellow actress Destiny Etiko shared an emotional video of Cynthia pleading for help to cover the high cost of her medical care.
Providing an update, Destiny announced that Nigerians had donated ₦13.1 million out of the ₦20 million target.
Sharing the good news, she wrote:
“You all contributed 13.1M out of the 20M.
It’s a lot and she is overwhelmed with joy.
She is super grateful and in shock.
God bless y’all.
At least this will go a long way to help.
Honestly I never expected this massive love y’all showered on her.
All I can say is thank u Jesus.
And thanks to all my followers.”
