Burna Boy said he was informed of Poco Lee’s arrest after the dancer was accused of rape in the UK.

He said he was not in the country when Poco Lee contacted him, but immediately began reaching out to his contacts in the UK. He is now in the UK as the matter continues to be investigated.
Burna Boy said he believes Poco Lee is innocent and did not commit the alleged offence. He also said Poco Lee has always shown him respect and loyalty, which made it difficult for him to stay quiet about the situation.
He wrote:
“Poco Lee contacted me to inform me of his arrest.
“I immediately began reaching out to my contacts in the UK yesterday; I was not in the country at the time.
“It is deeply distressing to see Poco Lee in this situation.
“I am currently in the UK, and the matter is under active investigation. Based on the information available to me, I believe Poco Lee is innocent. He did not commit the alleged offense. Poco Lee has always shown me immense respect and loyalty. I can’t remain silent while he goes through this.
“We are working diligently toward securing his release, and I am confident that we will achieve it by tomorrow.
I am fully committed to seeing this matter through to its conclusion 7 is real”.
Days ago, Poco Lee was accused of ra.pe in the UK, although the allegation remains under investigation.
