Man Allegedly Strangles Wife After Fight in Delta Community

A quiet community in Delta State has been left shaken after a woman and mother of two reportedly died following a violent confrontation with her husband.
According to reports, a man known only as Favor strangled his wife, Blessing Oghwoghwo, a mother of two small boys, before fleeing the scene in Sapele Local Government Area's Okirigbagha community.
The fugitive suspect reportedly begged his deceased wife, who sells food for cash, but she declined, which sparked a fight between them.
Then, according to reports, the guy beat and strangled his wife till she passed away.
He hurriedly left their two young boys, ages three and five, behind after sensing that she had passed away and that his neighbors were after him.
However, Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, has yet to answer to mails asking confirmation of the allegation by our reporter.
