The former rap mogul’s release date was moved up to Feb. 5, 2028.
Combs, 56, is serving his time at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after his conviction last year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison.
He was acquitted of more serious s3x trafficking and racketeering charges following a sensational trial at federal court in Manhattan.
Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, had been accused of forcing women to participate in so-called “freak-offs.” His legal team has appealed his convictions.
Combs is also facing numerous civil lawsuits, but has consistently denied wrongdoing.
The February 2028 release date has been moved repeatedly and was originally set for June of that year. It was most recently moved up last month, despite Combs’ reported involvement in a prison brawl that landed him in solitary confinement.
Combs is undergoing drug rehabilitation behind bars, PEOPLE previously reported.
