“I’m pained not being able to attend legend Olu Jacobs’ burial”- Patience Ozokwo

Veteran actress Patience Ozokwo has paid tribute to the late Nollywood legend Olu Jacobs, saying she was deeply saddened that she could not be in Nigeria to attend his burial.
In a message accompanying her tribute, Ozokwo explained that contractual obligations kept her away despite her desire to be there in person.
She said her thoughts were with Jacobs’ family, friends and loved ones as they gathered to honour the actor.
Taking to her page, she wrote:
“It hurts my heart that I am not physically present in Nigeria today to pay my last respects to the great legend, Olu Jacobs. I would give anything to be there at this moment, but contractual obligations will not allow me to be.
“My heart and thoughts are with you all. I pray that everything goes peacefully and that his remarkable legacy continues to live on. Though I may not be there in person, please know that I am with you all in spirit. Rest well, great legend. Your legacy will forever remain. 🕊🙏
