Kwankwaso Urges Cross River Voters to Protect Their Votes Like Kano Residents
Rabiu Kwankwaso has urged voters in Cross River State to protect their votes during the 2027 elections, just as he says people in Kano do.
NDC vice-presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has told voters in Cross River State to follow Kano's example and actively protect their votes during elections.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Cross River on Wednesday, the former Kano State governor said his supporters in Kano act as party agents in every election.
He said this makes it very hard for anyone to rig results in the state.
Kwankwaso has said that voters in Cross River should do the same, adding that in Kano, no one needs to ask how to guard their vote because everyone takes part as an election agent.
He said rigging in Kano would not go unpunished.
Kwankwaso also claimed that his party has won key elected positions in Kano from the 2011 general election through to the 2023 polls, without the support of any sitting governor.
