32-year-old Man Shot In The Abdomen After Fight With Ex-Wife's Husband

American police officers are now investigating a shooting in south Jackson that occurred just before 7:30 a.m.
According to MsNews, the tragic incident happened at a home in the 2300 block of Timber Crossing, where a 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen by another 32-year-old man.
The shooting happened after a fight between the suspect and victim, who was the ex-husband of the suspect's wife. The victim who is the ex-husband was shot after he arrived to pick up their child from the home.
After the victim was shot, he drove away. He was later located by AMR and transported to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered at the scene. His charges are pending.
Names of the suspect and victim have not been released.
This investigation is ongoing.
