The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has dismissed false reports of a database breach and assured that Nigerians’ data has not been compromised.

Kayode Adegoke, Head of то Communications, stated that the commission has not authorized any website or organization to sell or misuse the National Identification Number (NIN) and other sensitive information.
