The Turkish national team's defender Merih Demiral scored the greatest goal in the history of the playoff matches of the final tournaments of the European Championships.

Demiral appeared in the 57th second of the match against Austria in the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024. The Turkish defender successfully played the finishing touch and opened the corner in the duel.
