According to her, those words from the director left a deep mark but did not stop her from pushing forward.

Nigerian actress, Blessing Nze has recounted a painful experience in her career when a prominent Nollywood director told her she was too unattractive to be on screen.
She shared this in an interview with Saturday Punch while reflecting on her journey in the movie industry.
According to her, those words from the director left a deep mark but did not stop her from pushing forward.
At the time, she was still struggling to find her place in Nollywood and had not yet gained wide recognition.
She continued auditioning for roles and working hard behind the scenes, trusting that her time would come.
Nze said the same industry that once rejected her now embraces her.
She said: “I even remember when a popular director I deeply respected once told me I was too ugly to be in front of the camera. But look at me now.”
She also addressed the buzz surrounding the age difference between her and her husband, Stan Nze.
The mother of one said she finds it amusing how people exaggerate their age gap online.
She said: “There is no age difference in marriage. We are married so we are one. I see all kinds of things and laugh. I honour my husband as my priest and father figure.
“Besides, it’s not all those ridiculous years on the Internet. It is just two years difference, but all those things do not matter. Age is just a number. Even when we were dating, it was never up for a conversation.”
