In a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Burna Boy credited British supermodel Naomi Campbell for making the unlikely partnership possible.
According to Burna Boy, Campbell played a pivotal role in initiating the collaboration.
“It’s actually crazy because it was initiated by Naomi Campbell, she made it happen. Before I knew it, I was talking to Mick Jagger, and it felt like we’d known each other forever.”
The seamless chemistry between the two artists is evident in their song “Empty Chairs,” which blends Afrobeats rhythms with classic rock influences.
The song is featured on Burna Boy’s latest album, “No Sign of Weakness”, released on July 11, 2025.
