I bring you a warm greeting on this auspicious occasion of Easter, a season of hope and deep reflection.
As we celebrate Christ's victory over death and the renewal of our faith and belief in the eternal hope that his resurrection inspires, let us be reminded to continue to hold on to the assurance that even after the darkest and most challenging life moments, that hope will always come alive - as evident in Jesus' triumph over trials and death.
May this season reawaken in us the conviction that will strengthen our faith and resolve in God, and may the light of this conviction illuminate our paths as we journey through life, casting our burdens and challenges as a people on his shoulders.
May the true love Christ demonstrated by laying down his life for mankind inspire us to love wholeheartedly, give generously, serve selflessly, forgive without reservation, and above all - live peacefully with one another.
Let us therefore continue to uphold the values and ideals that bind us together as a people, holding firm the belief that a brighter and safer future for Orumba North is achievable through shared responsibility and commitment. With the right leaders at the helm of affairs at all levels of governance, we shall build a peaceful, progressive and saner society that we all will be proud of. As Jesus conquered the grave, so shall we conquer our challenges as a people.
