Plateau Govt Charges Five DSS-Detained Suspects Over Palm Sunday Massacre in Jos
The Plateau State Government has formally charged five individuals allegedly linked to the Palm Sunday killings in Angwa Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area.
Five individuals detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) in relation to the Palm Sunday murders have been charged by the Plateau State Government.
Several people were killed in the March 2026 Palm Sunday incident in Angwa Rukuba, Jos North LGA of the state.
Isa Umar Ibrahim, Auwalu Abubakar aka Auwalu Dogo, Musa Abubakar Ibrahim alias Yaroro, Ado Ibrahim, and Adamu Isa Alhassan were the five suspects to be charged with the murders.
The first four suspects were charged by the state authorities with criminal conspiracy to commit terrorism and other connected offenses.
Alhassan, the fifth suspect, is accused with criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide, unlawful firearm ownership, and unlawful arms and ammunition trade.
The defendants were taken into custody between April 3 and April 10, 2026, according to the DAILY POST.
