Chimsom Chuka has become the first Head of House (HoH) of Big Brother Naija Season 11 after emerging victorious in the opening challenge held on Monday night.
The competition took place a day after the show’s launch for the battle to win the record ₦160 million grand prize.
All 24 housemates participated in the first HoH challenge of the season, which was split into separate rounds for male and female contestants. The fastest participants advanced to the final stage, where the winner would earn the Head of House title, while the runner-up would become Deputy Head of House.
Chimsom completed the final course in 2 minutes and 8 seconds, securing the top spot, while Abi finished second to claim the Deputy Head of House position.
With the victory, Chimsom also earned immunity from this week’s eviction.
However, Season 11 comes with a major twist. Unlike previous editions, the Head of House will not automatically stay in the exclusive HoH lounge. Instead, the winner must select a fellow housemate through a lucky dip, and that person will enjoy the luxury suite for the week.
