Twin brothers from Lagos Island have stunned their university community with an impressive double achievement at Lagos State University.

Twin brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Ajitokewu from Lagos Island have achieved distinction at Lagos State University, with one earning First-Class honours and the other becoming the Best Graduating Student in his department.
Both graduated from the Department of Science and Technology Education.
Taiwo finished with First-Class honours in Biology Education while Kehinde emerged as the Best Graduating Student in Computer Science Education.
Their success stands out among the 20,604 students who graduated across two academic sessions, with 494 earning First-Class honours overall.
The brothers' journey began with uncertainty but was driven by determination and consistency.
During their undergraduate years, they earned two national scholarships, more than four local scholarships, international recognitions and two professional mentorships.
Both were also selected as Millennium Fellows for the Class of 2025, chosen from more than 60,000 applicants across 170 nations.
Taiwo worked on a waste-management sustainability project focused on recycling and composting while serving as a LASU SDGs Youth Ambassador.
Kehinde developed a digital infrastructure project aimed at digital literacy training and reducing the digital divide, serving in multiple leadership roles including Assistant General Secretary of the Muslim Students' Society.
The twins grew up in Isale Eko, a historic but congested Lagos Island community.
Rather than let their environment limit them, they allowed their values, discipline and faith to guide their future.
Kehinde reflected that their achievements prove excellence can emerge from any background and urged young people not to let circumstances determine their potential.
Both brothers expressed gratitude to their parents, teachers and mentors and said they are open to local and international opportunities ahead.
