Oyedepo shuts down rumours that offerings bought him jets
Bishop David Oyedepo has spoken up regarding his wealth, addressing the claims and speculations surrounding the acquisition of four private planes.
The Bishop, while speaking during a sermon, explained that people can attain financial success without engaging in questionable practices.
Oyedepo also stressed that he did not use church funds to acquire his private planes and cars, noting that wealth gotten through dubious means tends to vanish.
“It took me time to drive the first new car, but it didn’t take me time to start flying. I’ve never taken a dime from this church to buy any of my planes, and I have 4 planes. I use any one I like if one is faulty. You don’t have to do drugs or Bet. Wealth gotten by vanity shall diminish,” he said.
His comments and disclosure about owning four planes, however, drew attention to his net worth and source of income.
