Nollywood stars gather for Ogogo’s eighth-day prayer

Nollywood stars, family and friends of the late veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, converged on Monday at the Stadium in Ilaro, Ogun State, for his eighth-day Fidau prayer.

Videos showed a large turnout of guests. Veteran actors Yinka Quadri, Oga Bello and Jide Kosoko, and actress Fathia Balogun, Sola Kosoko were among those in attendance.
The late actor’s daughters, Kira and Lima Taiwo, were also present.
Ogogo d!ed on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 66.
He was laid to rest in Ilaro on August 24 in accordance with Islamic rites.
