Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has said he believes Seyi Tinubu could bring a different approach to Nigerian football if he gets the chance to lead the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Martins said Nigerian football needs younger leadership from someone who understands both the game and how the system works.
Speaking on the Obi One Podcast, the former Inter Milan and Newcastle United striker pointed to Seyi Tinubu as someone he believes has the qualities to make a difference.
He said:
“He’s young, and he understands what Nigerian people want. I think he can change that. He can change that. He can change that.”
He was then asked if he felt Seyi was already doing enough. He noted that Seyi is not the President, but said he has still been making efforts.
“I mean, he’s not the President, but still he’s making an effort”, he stated.
